  • Colour : Brown, upper forewing ocellus is situated in more or less pale area outwardly and inwardly defined by a dark line.
  • Habit : Weak flier, found in forested region as well as in open grassy patch and scrub jungles. Most of the time they rest in the undergrowth with their wings folded on their backs.
  • Larval Host Plants : Grasses of the genera Lopanthorum, Pogonantherum, Microstegium spp. etc.
  • Location : Throughout West Bengal
